Laura Gelezunas interviews children | Having spent 10 years in the world of US broadcast news, Laura Gelezunas, the "Video Diva," decided to unleash her skills on Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Actually, her contract was not renewed for her Chief Meteorologist position at a CBS affiliate in Rock Island, Illinois. So, she came to PV for a vacation and never left (haven't you always wanted to do that?) Laura did the TV news thing in five US cities. She chased tornadoes in Kansas, dodged hurricanes in Georgia, weathered blizzards in Michigan, and enjoyed every minute of it! During her years in the broadcasting business, she was a Meteorologist, videographer, TV reporter, writer, editor, sportscaster, producer, and had her own cooking segment. She also worked with the sales staff to write and produce local television commercials. She arrived in Puerto Vallarta over three years ago, while she was "in between" TV jobs. Laura saw the great potential for a new way of life and a new career. In addition to owning and operating the VideoDiva production company, she is also the video journalist, producer and director for Puerto Vallarta's liveliest website BanderasNews.com. "Puerto Vallarta is such an exciting market because there are no other video journalists working here and I can explore my creativity.
